Institute Office

The mission of the Institute Office is to ensure optimal support for the administration, teaching, staff and students of the Institute of Psychology.

The duties of the Institute Office broadly consist of:

  • Caroline de Ruijter Interim Head of the Institute Office

    Responsible for organisational and personnel management at the Institute Office. Also responsible for policy development and the implementation of operational processes at the Institute of Psychology.

  • wendy werkman Secretary to the Board

    Supports administrative policy- and decision-making by the Institute Board and reviews implementation.

  • Atie Breugem Board secretary

    Performs secretarial, administrative, organisational and policy preparation tasks for the Institute Board. Organises, prepares and takes minutes of Institute Board meetings.

  • Emmy Zwetsloot-van Reisen Secretary Institute Office

    Performs secretarial and organisational tasks for the head of the Institute Office. Also taking care of office management and financial administration for the Psychology Institute Office.

  • Marion Duijsman Secretary to the Board of Examiners

    Responsible for administration and correspondence related to all activities of the Board of Examiners. Processes student requests, answers colleagues’ questions, prepares committee meetings and assists in the handling of appeals.

  • Sigrid Zuijderduin Secretary to the Board of Examiners

    Responsible for administration and correspondence related to all activities of the Board of Examiners. Processes student requests, answers colleagues’ questions, prepares committee meetings and assists in the handling of appeals.

  • Kim van Dorp Secretary to the Board of Examiners

    Responsible for administration and correspondence related to all activities of the Board of Examiners. Processes student requests, answers colleagues’ questions, prepares committee meetings and assists in the handling of appeals.

  • Wilma van Velzen-Kors Officer for requests to the Board of Examiners

    Handles student requests, answers colleagues’ questions and assists in the handling of appeals.

  • Titia van Ree Secretary to the Bachelor’s Programme Committee (BOC)

    Supports decision-making and implementation of the BOC. Organises, prepares and records committee meetings.

  • Henriëtta Joosten Secretary Participation Councils

    Supports decision-making and implementation of the MOC, RMOC and Institute Council. Organises, prepares and records committee meetings.

  • Heleen Oostebrink Programme Manager

    Ensures optimal implementation and organisation of educational processes and support within the Institute of Psychology in order to provide high-quality teaching within the study programmes.

  • Mirthe Haas Programme Coordinator

    Plans and coordinates educational activities to promote effective, efficient and high-quality educational processes and teaching.

  • Minja Sarovic Programme Coordinator

    Plans and coordinates educational activities to promote effective, efficient and high-quality educational processes and teaching.

  • Eva Gast Programme Coordinator

    Plans and coordinates educational activities to promote effective, efficient and high-quality educational processes and teaching.

  • Susanne van Esdonk Programme Coordinator

    Plans and coordinates educational activities to promote effective, efficient and high-quality educational processes and teaching.

  • Titia van Ree Admissions Officer

    Responsible for tasks related to the admission of students to the Psychology Bachelor’s, Pre-Master’s and Master's degree programmes and handling appeals regarding admissions.

  • Nicky Weldon Admissions Officer

    Responsible for tasks related to the admission of students to the Psychology Bachelor’s, Pre-Master’s and Master's degree programmes and handling appeals regarding admissions.

  • Dionne Brouwer Admissions Officer

    Responsible for tasks related to the admission of students to the Psychology Bachelor’s, Pre-Master’s and Master's degree programmes and handling appeals regarding admissions.

  • Wilma van Velzen-Kors Education and Student Affairs Officer

    Contributes to the optimal organisation of educational processes within the Master’s programme offered by the Institute of Psychology. Serves as the first point of contact for Master’s students and issues special declarations. Organises BAPD (Basic Registration Psychodiagnostics) certification and the entry exams.

    Also performs tasks regarding the selection and placement of prospective first-year students.

  • Rianne de Bree Internationalisation Officer

    Point of contact for incoming and outgoing Psychology exchange students. Also liaises with universities abroad and concludes contracts regarding exchange opportunities for students.

  • Romy van Keppel Internationalisation Officer

    Point of contact for incoming and outgoing Psychology exchange students. Also liaises with universities abroad and concludes contracts regarding exchange opportunities for students.

  • Pauline Ruygrok Management/office-assistent

    Provides secretarial and administrative support to Education and Student Affairs staff or to one or more projects.

  • Verena Ly Research Policy Officer

    Develops, implements, evaluates and adjusts policy on scientific research within the Institute of Psychology. Provides substantive support to the Scientific Director.

  • Thaddeus Bergé Research Policy Officer

    Develops, implements, evaluates and adjusts policy on scientific research within the Institute of Psychology. Provides substantive support to the Scientific Director.

  • Willemijn Plomp Data Steward

    Carries out hands-on data management activities and advises researchers on how to handle data securely, ethically and sustainably. Also prepares or reviews data management plans and verifies and uploads publication packages.

  • Jaap-Willem Mink Data Steward

    Carries out hands-on data management activities and advises researchers on how to handle data securely, ethically and sustainably. Also prepares or reviews data management plans and verifies and uploads publication packages.

  • Evelien Wolthuis Education Policy Officer

    Develops, implements, evaluates and adjusts policies on education within the Institute of Psychology. Provides substantive support to the Director of Education.

  • Charlotte Schultz Marketing & Communication Adviser

    Responsible for formulating, organising and implementing the Institute of Psychology’s communication policy for internal communication, science communication and marketing & student recruitment. Project management on internal communication for staff and students.

     

  • Karlijn Krijgsman Officer Internal Communication

    Organises and provides internal communication activities for the staff and students of the Institute of Psychology, through policy support, project supervision and content creation.

  • Mardet van Gennip Editor-in-chief

    Performs (or arranges) editorial tasks for various internal and/or external publications and monitors the quality of publications and their dissemination through the University’s media channels.

  • Anne Holleman Editor

    Creates textual and visual content for communication and/or information channels within and outside the Institute of Psychology, with a focus on science communication.

  • Linde van der Wel Marketing and Event Manager

    Organises and takes care of communication and information activities for the Institute of Psychology, with a focus on marketing the programmes, organising information meetings and attracting new students.

  • Jasmijn van Holsteijn Communication and Information Officer (till 6 June 2024)

    Organises communication and/or information activities for the Institute of Psychology. Contact person for prospective Psychology Bachelor’s students and involved in all the Institute’s information activities.

  • Anne-Fleur Blom Communication and Information Officer (as of 1 May 2024)

    Organises communication and/or information activities for the Institute of Psychology. Contact person for prospective Psychology Bachelor’s students and involved in all the Institute’s information activities.

The student advisers are engaged in informing, advising and guiding students, regarding approach to study, study progress and way of studying, in order to promote good student progress and enable students to make informed choices within their own study programme.
